Ron and LaNette are the founders of ShyAnn’s Hope. Beginning in 1994 through SongBird Music Ministry for over 25-years, they served in numerous compacities with their daughter ShyAnn. The family traveled to numerous states and cities and presented a Christ Centered message/concerts to church’s, youth centers, and encouraging programs for special events and schools. As a couple Ron and LaNette worked at The New Mexico Girls Ranch, Buckner’s Children’s Home in Texas, and Southern Peaks Regional Treatment Center with at risk youth. Further they provided Foster Care in Colorado for 7 years. LaNette was contracted as the Team Leader at Woodmen Valley Chapel for the Single Parent Hands and Heart Ministry and spearheaded the implementation of the program. ShyAnn’s Hope was inspired from this program in correlation with the training and experience she has obtained. Together Ron and LaNette have hundreds of training hours in the field of hurting and broken individuals. LaNette holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Christian Counseling from Liberty University. Her experience includes extensive training in Pastoral Care, with Certification as a Christian Life Coach and various Certifications from Light University. She has trained in the Renewing and Rebuilding Program and Being a Barnabas for hurting women. LaNette has led several small groups including Praying for Prodigals and The Journey in Grief Together. She is also a Speaker-Author-Vocalist.
Ron is a Director in Building Maintenance, a contractor, experienced in OSHA, educated in city, state, and county building codes and guidelines. He is helpful in handyman needs and minor car repairs, and other projects for the ShyAnn’s Hope families. The couple hope to partner with churches, businesses and organizations. We have a vision to build housing resources. Which will include education and credit repair for homeownership. The couple have been married for 37-years with 2 living children, 9 grandchildren (one in Heaven) and a great-grandson. The couple resides in Colorado.
