Rev. Vic Rader was saved at the age of 23 as a result of a home evangelism team from Dr. John C. Maxwell’s church in Lancaster, Ohio, visiting him and his wife Debbie. Vic was ordained in 1980 and graduated in 1983 from Ohio Christian University, Circleville, Ohio with a BA Degree in Christian Ministries. He has studied Church Planting at the Charles E. Fuller Institute of Church Growth, Pasadena, CA, and has been a Church Planting Pastor in California and Virginia. As a Pastor he restarted and relocated a church in Canon City, Colorado. He has served as the Director of Evangelism, Discipleship and Small Groups in churches in Northern Virginia and Colorado Springs, CO. Vic & Debbie have two grown daughters, and one granddaughter, who live in Colorado Springs, CO. His Kenya ministry began during a speaking engagement to Kenya in December, 2004. Community Leaders, and operating Jesus Film Teams which go into rural areas weekly throughout Western Kenya. Vic is bringing years of organizational knowledge and experience to Shyann’s Hope. His spiritual insights and compassion for hurting people will be an asset to our team.
