Training for Volunteers Who Walk Alongside Families.
We train from the “Code of Ethics within Pastoral Care and Christian Counseling” under the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and The National Evangelical Statement of Faith. Our training program educates the volunteers on how to become aware of problems, how to be accountable, and how to deal with hurting and broken individuals without causing them more pain. Further, we teach what to do or not to do if there is a problem. Our volunteer training is mandatory before individuals will be ready to work with the families within our programs. We carefully screen our volunteers to ensure they have a teachable spirit on how to be authentic, merciful, and how to establish healthy boundaries for trusting relationships.
Fixer Upper of the Heart, Mind, and Soul
Is an on going community of people who are real and genuinely care void of judgement. We continually extend validation for any injustices that may have hindered any growth potential. We provide the tools to greatly improve accountability, relationships, parenting, health, and finances. Our hope is to take our precious families on a continual inspirational journey, filled with grace and mercy, on the road to redemption and transformation. We demonstrate from our examples, stories, and curriculum for an achievable destination of wholeness and security, which never requires perfection, only grace and mercy. We discern that everyone is different, and it is not for us to rate or judge, but to guide with Gods power working through us. Our long-term hope is for when the parent discovers healing growth. When the parent finds healing, the children have a greater chance not only for increased self-esteem and home stability, but the opportunity to experience a structured, happier, positive, memorable childhood.
